What is UPSC NDA 2 NA-2024

UPSC conducts NDA NA exam every year for those applicants who want to take admission in Army, Navy, and Air Forces wings. Only those male or female candidates who are unmarried and whose age is between 16.5 years to 19.5 years can participate in UPSC NDA and NA exam. The UPSC will organize the NDA NA 2 exam on 1 September 2024. For this UPSC has opened the application window from 15 May 2024. Applicants for UPSC NDA and NA will be able to submit application forms till June 4, 2024, by 6 pm.

UPSC NDA & NA-II 2024 Eligibility Criteria

For admission to UPSC National Defense Academy (NDA) and Naval Academy (NA)-II, candidates will have to fulfill the prescribed eligibility criteria. Before filling UPSC NDA 2 Application Form 2024, check the eligibility criteria in the given points.

• It is necessary that the candidate should be a citizen of India.
• Applicant should not be married.
• The candidate can be either man or woman.
• The age of the applicant should not be less than 16.5 and more than 19.5 years i.e. the applicant should not be born before 2 January 2006 and after 1 January 2009.
• Applicant should have qualified 12th class for Army Wings of National Defense Academy (NDA).
• For admission to the Air Force and Naval wings of the National Defense Academy, a candidate must have completed Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in his/her 10+2 education.
• As per the official guidelines of NDA and NA, applicant should be physically fit.

Selection Process UPSC NDA & NA II

‘Two-Stage Selection Procedure’ will be followed by UPSC, which will be based on Psychological (PST) Aptitude Test and Intelligence Test (IT). These tests will be conducted at Selection centers/Air Force Selection Boards/Navel Selection Boards.

It is compulsory that the applicant qualify in both the selection stages. After qualifying in both the stages, the candidate will have to participate in the documentation procedure in which the candidate will have to submit his 10th marksheet and 12th marksheet.

UPSC NDA-II 2024 Written Exam & SSB Interview

Applicants need to participate in both the written test and SSB interview. Both written exam and SSB interview caries 900 marks separately. The written exam will include Math Test and General Ability Test. The duration of the exam will 2.5 hours for each subject separately.

Application Fee

To fill the application form of UPSC NDA & NA II, you will have to pay the application fee, the information of which is given below.

• Any candidate other than SC/ST category, Female Candidate, JCOs/NCOs/ORs candidates belonging to specialized Wards will have to pay an application fee of Rs 100.
• Application Fee can be paid by the candidate from any bank branch, through debit card, UPI ID, credit card etc.
• Application fees will have to be paid by the candidate by 3 June 2024 if the candidate has chosen ‘Pay By Cash’ mode of payment.
• Candidates can submit the rest through Payment’s mode till 4 June 2024.

If you want to apply for UPSC NDA-NA II-2024 positions you must registred first yourself on UPSC portal, only after that you will be able to fill the application form of UPSC NDA NA-II. To get yourself registered follow the below mentioned steps on UPSC portal.

• Go to the main site of UPSC upsconline.nic.in.
• First, click on the link “One Time Registration (OTR) for UPSC Examinations and Online Application” to register yourself.
• At this time, a new webpage will be open.
• Here you must select your mode of login (Email ID, Mobile Number, or OTR ID) and further details are mentioned accordingly.
• At the end enter the verification code and click on ‘Login’ tab.

UPSC NDA 2 NA-2024 Application Process

• Visit the official portal of UPSC @upsconline.nic.in.
• Now select the Registration option as per your preference.
• Fill the login details to get login in the UPSC website.
• Now look for the Application Form link of UPSC NDA & NA II-2024 and click on it.
• After this an application form will open. Fill all the information asked in it, then click on the submit button.
• Now you will be asked to make payment of application fee.
• Choose the payment mode to pay the fee and make the payment.
• After that a receipt will be displayed on your screen with information ‘Application Form Successfully Submitted’.
• Download the receipt and download the application details for future use such as application number or registration number etc.
