Through DOST, eligible students can take admission in government, private, and autonomous colleges, and universities of Telangana to study their bachelor’s degree.

 Degree Online Service Telangana (DOST) admission consists of three phases through which students participate in the online admission process on the basis of their 12th percentage. In Telangana state from 8 July 2024 the Degree College Semester-I is going to begin for 2024-25 academic year. Telangana DOST Phase-I Seat Allotment 2024 Release Date

Till 2 June 2024 applicants are able to submit their choices regarding their colleges and courses under ‘Phase-I Web-options’ only after that the Telangana State DOST Seat Allotment 2024 list will be announce to the public.

As per the DOST Seat Allotment Schedule-2024 the Phase I Seat Allotment list will be declared on 6 June 2024. Applicants will be able to check the DOST Seat Allotment on the official web portal of Degree Online Services, Telangana (Dost) @https://dost.cgg.gov.in. Afte that the applicants will have to self-report on the online platform. 

Seat Allotment Process of Telangana DOST

DOST follows a certain process to take admission request from applicants. The seat allotment process includes few stages which I am explaining below. The Process includes three phases for Seat Allotment.

• Registration (DOST ID Generation): First, students will have to register on DOST official portal @https://dost.cgg.gov.in to participate in DOST Seat Allotment 2024 Process. Applicants must pay the application fee or registration fee. In Phase-I applicants had paid Rs. 200. To register for Phase-II and III applicants must pay Rs. 400.
• Web-Option Submission: After the registration applicants have to submit their preferences about courses and colleges in, they want to get admitted. So, they will get admission in their desired course and college if the seat is available.
• Verification of Documents and Certificate: After Web-Option Submission, applicants must go through the Document Verification. In this stage Candidates educational, domicile, age certificate and other relevant documents got checked.
• Seat Allotment: After this, the admission faculty will check the received request, evaluate it and on its basis, they will release the Telangana State DOST Seat Allotment 2024 list which will contain the name of the shortlisted applicants, information about which course and college they have got the seat.
• Online Self-Reporting: After the release of DOST Seat Allotment List 2024, shortlisted candidates will have to give online self-reporting if they want to go ahead with the allotment seat.
• Exception: If any applicant refuses to report to the allotted seats, then the seat will be transferred to the next eligible applicant.
