JoSAA Counselling 2024
Joint Seat Allocation Authority is responsible to conduct JoSAA Counselling 2024 in the country and it is supervised by Ministry of Education. JoSAA is an annual Join Seat Allocation process organized for counselling and seat allocation purpose in 121 Technical institutes across India for academic year 2024-25. These all-technical institutes funded by government. JoSAA Counselling 2024 will organize in 5 rounds which have various events via online mode.
This join counselling process conducts annually. JoSAA Counselling Organized for 23 IITs, 26 IIITs, 31 NITs, IIEST Shibpur and other 40 GFTIs. JoSAA Counselling will include various events such as registration, choice filling, fee payment, seat allocation, Reconciliation of data, verification, and validation of allocated seats and many other. JoSSA Counselling 2024 Eligibility
Only eligible candidates can participate in JoSSA Counselling 2024 to secure seat for admission in prestigious technical institutions in India. Only JEE Main 2024 and JEE Advanced 2024 qualifiers can get a chance to participate in the counselling process. For that general category candidates who scored 75% marks in their 12th exam have their name in the merit list in top 20 percentile and if candidates belong to SC/ST/ PwD categories, then the criteria is 65%.
JoSSA Counselling 2024 Registration Date
After the JEE Advanced 2024 Result announcement of 9 June 2024 qualified candidates will be able to register themselves from 10 June 2024 on the portal as the online registration window will be open from 10th June. These registration and choice filling will be covered under JoSAA STARTS. After registration and choice filling seats allocation will be done in next 5 rounds till 26 July 2024.
JoSSA Counselling 2024 Fee
To become a part of JoSAA Counselling 2024 Process and to secure admission in any technical institutes, candidates are required to pay some amounts in form of pre-payment or JoSAA Counselling 2024 Fee. After the candidate’s confirmation for the allocated seat this fee will be included in the semester fee. The JoSAA Counselling Fee 2024 Structure is mentioned below which is based on category.
