What is Jagananna AmmaVodi Scheme 2024

This scheme was launched under the supervision of the government school education department of Andhra Pradesh. The scheme was launched on 9 January 2020 by Andhra Pradesh’s Honorable Chief Minister Shri YSR Jagan Mohan Reddy. Under this scheme, Rs 15,000 is given annually to the mothers of economically weaker children for their education.

Through this government scheme, financial assistance is provided to the families belonging to lower caste category which includes children of class 1 to 10. With the help of this financial assistance, the survivors have been able to complete their school education from class 1 to 10.

Who is eligible for AP Jagananna AmmaVodi Scheme 2024

• If the child’s family lives in a rural location, their monthly income should not exceed Rs 10,000.
• It should be less than 12,000 rupees a month if it is from urban area.
• The child’s family shouldn’t have any members working for the government.
• The child’s family should not have a four-wheeler (other than taxi, tractor, or autos).
• The child’s family should have an electricity bill that is less than 300 units per month.
• No one in the child’s family should pay tax.
• The attendance of the child in school should be at least 75%.

Benefits of  Jagananna Amma Vodi Scheme 2024

How to fill application form of agananna Amma Vodi Scheme 2024 Offline

The process to apply for the scheme is very simple and easy. You can follow the below guideline step by step to apply for the Jagananna AmmaVodi Scheme 2024. Since only offline mode is available to apply for Jagananna Ammavodi scheme, applicants will have to go to their nearest government office and collect the application form and then submit it.

• Step 1: Eligible candidates will have to first go to the government office connected to this scheme and get the application form of Jagananna Ammavadi Scheme.
• Step 2: After this, you will have to fill in the correct answers to all the questions asked in the application form like name of the child, parent’s or guardian name, parents’ annual income, category, home address, age, and class of the child.
• Step 3: After filling the application form, submit it to the government office along with the required documents (Identity proof, category certificate, bank account details, child’s school ID card, address proof, and income proof).
• Step 4: After this, a list will be released by the government which will contain the names of all the shortlisted applicants. 
• Step 5: After all the approvals are completed, the government will start crediting the benefit amount against the registered deficit of the selected applicants till the time the child is studying in 10th class.
