CSIR NET 2024 June Exam Postponed, New Exam Schedule Out Soon: For those candidates who are waiting for the announcement of their admit card by the testing authority to participate in the CSIR NET June 2024 Exam, the latest news for them is that the Joint CSIR UGC NET 2024 has been postponed by the examination board and now it will be conducted on the new dates.
NTA published an official notice on 21 June 2024 to inform candidates about the delay of the examination. Previously the CSIR UGC NET Exam was scheduled to be conducted from 25 June 2024 to 27 June 2024.
CSIR NET 2024 June Exam Postponed
The examination authority has informed the candidates that due to some logistic issues and unavoidable circumstances, the Joint CSIR UGC NET Exam 2024 has been postponed. Candidates whose age is below 30 years old can participate in the CSIR NET 2024 Exam on the upcoming date. New test dates are yet to be disclosed by the examination authority and soon they will be announced officially by the end week of June 2024. Candidates can expect the conduct the exam at the end of June 2024 or the first week of July 2024.

CSIR UGC NET 2024 June Fellowship Exam
CSIR and UGC are responsible for conducting the National Eligibility Test (NET) to find eligible Indian candidates to appoint them as assistant professors and offer admission into PhD under Indian universities and colleges and R&D Establishment. Joint CSIR UGC NET 2024 Qualifiers will be eligible for ‘Award of JRF and appointment as Assistant Professor’, Appointment as Assistant Professor and admission to PhD’, and Admission to PhD only’.

Examination Pattern of Joint CSIR NET 2024 Exam
The examination pattern which is going to be followed in the CSIR NET June 2024 is mentioned below.
- The examination will be conducted via online mode through Computer Based Test.
- The test paper will be in Bi-lingual (Hindi and English).
- The question format will be objective type.
- Candidates will receive 3 hours to solve the paper.
- The test will be divided into 5 papers based on different subjects.
