Minimum Educational Qualifications for TANGEDCO Apprentice 2024
Category – II Technician (Diploma) Apprentices:
- You need a full-time Diploma in Engineering or Technology from a State Council or Board of Technical Education set up by a State Government in the relevant field.
- You can also have a full-time Diploma in Engineering or Technology from a University in the relevant field.
- A Diploma in Engineering and Technology from an institution recognized by either the State Government or Central Government as equivalent to the above qualifications is also acceptable.
Age: The age limit will be as per the Apprenticeship Rules.
Reservation of Vacancies for TANGEDCO Apprentices
The rules from the Apprentices Act will be used to set aside jobs for SC (Scheduled Castes), ST (Scheduled Tribes), OBC (Other Backward Classes), and PwD (Persons with Disabilities).
If you want to claim reservation under SC, ST, OBC, or PwD, you must provide a certificate that follows the Government’s standard format. If you don’t provide this certificate, your application will be considered as ‘General’ category.
For BC (Backward Class) or MBC (Most Backward Class) candidates claiming the OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) category, you need to provide an OBC (NCL) certificate according to the approved format from the authority issuing the certificate.
