How Much is the Muft Bijli Yojana Subsidy Amount for Households

PM Muft Bijali Yojana Subsidy Amount for GHS or RWA
There is a separate base of subsidy amount for group housing and households and the Resident Welfare Association. If any group housing society installs a solar plant, then Rs. 18,000 subsidy amounts will be given on common facilities which includes the Electronic Vehicle Charging for up to 500kW capacity (@3kW per house).

You can submit an online request for PM Surya Ghar Free Electricity Scheme and get a solar plant installed on your rooftop.

- Go to the official portal at www.pmsuryaghar.gov.in.
- Now click on the option ‘Apply for Rooftop Solar‘ option available on the homepage.
- If you are a registered applicant, you can directly click on the login option and submit your Registration Mobile.
- And if you are not a registered applicant, then first click on the registration option.
- After this tap on ‘Apply for Rooftop Solar’.
- Now you have to upload your electricity bill and other relevant documents.
- Once you get the, Get the solar plant installed through the registered vendor of your DISCOM.
- Once the solar plant is installed, submit the plant details and apply for your net meter.
- After the installation of the net meter, an inspection will be done by the DISCOM and a commissioning certificate can be generated from the portal.
- Once the commissioning report is received, you must use an online interface to submit a cancelled cheque and your bank information.
- Your subsidy amount will be credited to your bank account after a period of 30 days.
