NEET Results 2024 Cancelled for 1,563 Candidates, Re-Exam on June 23: Supreme Court: Ever since the NEET 2024 results were declared, it has become a topic of discussion among students, parents and the education system in the country. Today the Supreme Court has announced a big decision regarding the result released by the National Testing Agency, about which we will read in this article.
The Supreme Court has cancelled all the charges against NTA and has ordered NTA to conduct a re-exam for 1563 candidates who received grace marks. Akhil Bhartiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) has been protesting outside of NTA headquarters in Delhi since 10 June 2024 in case of the result.
All the people who are involved in the protest have the same demand that this result scam should be investigated, re-examination of NEET UG 2024, and revision of scored marks. Last week NTA established a four-member panel committee to investigate the NEET Result 2024 Controversy.
NEET Results 2024 Cancelled for 1,563 Candidates
As soon as NEET Result 2024 was released a huge change in the result was noticeable. So, a large number of candidates started raising questions on NTA, for which NTA issued a 3-page public notice on 6 June 2024. Through the released public notice NTA also answered all the questions on the official website of the NEET UG 2024 Exam at exams.nta.ac.in. However, till now no one has agreed with these answers of NTA and is still continuously demanding investigation of the result and NEET UG 2024 Retest.
Now Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has given his final statement after reviewing all the findings in the investigation and not found NTA Guilty. As per the statement, the NEET UG 2024 Question Paper was not leaked. However, 1563 candidates who received the NEET UG Grace Marks 2024 will have to go through a re-examination. NEET UG Result 2024 Controversies
As of now, the NEET Result 2024 Controversy is at its peak nowadays with several reasons. You can get the details in the below points.
- Number 1 controversy is 1563 candidates received the grace marks and protesters are requesting the re-examination of the candidates who received the grace marks in result.
- The second controversy is the names of 67 toppers appearing together who scored a perfect 720/720 in the NEET result and secured first rank.
- The third controversy is the result was declared earlier on 4 June 2024. however, it was decided to be declared on 14 June 2024 according to the official NEET UG Schedule 2024.
- The fourth controversy is multiple candidates scored 720/720 marks from the same test centres.
NEET UG 2024 Re-Exam Latest Update
Many students were protesting against the NEET Result 2024 and demanding a re-conduct of the examination. Today the education minister has taken the decision and announced that the candidates who have got grace marks in the result will have to appear in the NEET UG Re Exam 2024 as their previous result is considered invalid and they will have to participate in the re-exam again and the result after that will be considered valid.
Out of these 1563 candidates, only those who pass the re-exam will be able to participate in NEET Counselling 2024. The date of the NEET UG 2024 re-exam was also released along with the final decision. The retest will be conducted on 23 June 2024 and its result will be published on the online website on 30 June 2024. As of now, NTA has not given any information by releasing any public notice on its formal website.
NEET UG 2024 Re-Exam Pattern
The examination pattern and marking scheme of NEET UG Re-exam 2024 will remain the same as there will be no change. The exam will be conducted by NTA. The exam will be for 720 marks in which candidates will be given 200 questions and they will have to attempt 180 questions out of 200 to score 720 marks. The format of the exam will remain the same as the previous one (Objective type).
What after the Supreme Court’s Final Verdict on NEET UG 2024?
After the final verdict of the Supreme Court, a re-examination of 1563 candidates will be conducted because their results have been cancelled and they will have to participate again in the NEET UG Exam 2024. There is no impact on the results of all other candidates and all will be able to participate in NEET Counseling 2024 as decided earlier.
