The Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS), Telangana has initiated the first phase of web-based counselling for BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery), BHMS (Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery), BUMS (Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery), and BNYS (Bachelor of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences) courses under the Competent Authority Quota (CQ) for the 2024-25 academic year. The counselling process is applicable to both government and private AYUSH colleges affiliated with KNRUHS in Telangana.

KNRUHS UG AYUSH Admissions 2024-25 Eligibility Criteria for Counselling

The eligibility criteria for participation in this phase of counselling are outlined below:

  1. Candidates listed in the Provisional Merit List: Only those whose names appear in the final merit list released by KNRUHS are eligible to participate.
  2. Admitted Candidates Ineligible for State Counselling:
    • Candidates already admitted into MBBS/BDS courses through KNRUHS or MCC counselling are not eligible.
    • Candidates admitted into AYUSH courses through the All India Quota (AIQ) and marked ineligible by the AACCC (Ayush Admissions Central Counseling Committee) for state counselling are also disqualified.

KNRUHS 2024-25 Procedure for Web Options Entry

The web options entry process enables candidates to select their preferred courses and colleges. Below are the key instructions that must be followed:

  • Candidates should log in to https://tsbahnu.tsche.in using a computer with a stable internet connection. Mobile phones or tablets should not be used for this process.
  • Before submitting options, candidates are required to refer to the prospectus and relevant government orders available on the KNRUHS website.
  • Candidates must choose the courses and colleges they are interested in, according to their rank and priority.
  • An OTP (One-Time Password) will be sent to the registered mobile number during the submission of options. The OTP consists of a six-letter code with capital letters (A-Z).
  • After entering and saving their options, candidates must print the saved options for reference.

The seat allotment result will be communicated to candidates through SMS on their registered mobile numbers and will also be published on the counselling portal. After receiving the notification, candidates must pay the university fee online and download the allotment letter.

Reporting to the Allotted College

After downloading the allotment letter, candidates must report to the allotted college by the date specified in the letter. At the time of reporting, the following tasks must be completed:

  1. Verification of Original Certificates:
    • The Admission Committee at the allotted college will verify the original certificates. If discrepancies are found, the provisional allotment will be cancelled, and further action may be taken.
  2. Submission of Required Documents:
    • Candidates must submit all original documents, a bond (if applicable), and the college tuition fee.
    • The original certificates will not be returned unless the candidate discontinues the course.

Important Instructions for Candidates

  • Admission Cancellation Policy:
    • Candidates who do not report to the allotted college within the specified time will lose their admission, and their seat will be cancelled. They will also be ineligible for subsequent phases of counselling for the same course.
  • Refund Policy:
    • The university fee paid during the allotment will not be refunded under any circumstances.
