Eligibility Criteria for Canara Bank Recruitment 2024

1. Internal Ombudsman (IO)

  • Rank Requirement:
    Retired or serving officers at the General Manager level or equivalent from a commercial bank, NBFC, regulatory body, or financial institution are eligible.
  • Exclusion Criteria:
    Applicants who were formerly employed or are currently employed by Canara Bank or any of its group entities are ineligible.
  • Experience Requirement:
    • A minimum of seven years of experience in banking services, consumer protection, credit information, or other related fields.
    • Candidates must possess in-depth knowledge of complaint handling and grievance resolution mechanisms.

2. Deputy Internal Ombudsman (DIO)

  • Rank Requirement:
    Retired or serving officers holding positions at the Deputy General Manager (DGM) level or higher are eligible.
  • Exclusion Criteria:
    Individuals with past or present employment with Canara Bank are not eligible.
  • Experience Requirement:
    At least five years of relevant experience in financial services, payment systems, or consumer redressal.

Canara Bank Roles and Responsibilities
