Earlier this year, the BTEUP conducted exams for various Diploma courses, including Tool and Mould Making, Pharmacy, and other programs. The exams took place from June 28 to July 20, 2023, with an overall pass percentage of 66.8%. During this period, a significant number of students—approximately 2 lakh—were assessed. Notably, Devesh Chaturvedi from Varanasi achieved the highest score in the Engineering stream with 87.71%, showcasing exceptional performance.

Examination Statistics

For detailed examination statistics, a total of 283,121 candidates were registered across various systems: 152,805 in the Semester System, 122,579 in the Annual System, and 7,737 in the Special Back System. Out of these, 10,328 candidates were absent, while 272,793 participated in the exams.

Here’s a brief overview of the toppers for the BTEUP 2023 exams. In the Engineering stream, Devesh Chaturvedi topped the list with an impressive 87.71%. He was followed by Shubham Singh with 86.27% and Raj Kishore Singh Yadav with 86.01%. In non-engineering fields, Shruti Singh from the Fashion Designing & Garment Technology department achieved the highest score of 87.83%, followed by Neelakshi Pandey and Deeksha Yadav.
